Uskup Agung menerima Kate dari sang ayah. Pangeran William lalu mengambil tangan kanan Kate dan menirukan Uskup Agung ucapannya:

Keduanya melepaskan tangan. Kate mengambil tangan kanan William dan menirukan Uskup Agung:

Keduanya saling melepaskan tangan dan Uskup Agung memberkati cincin mereka. William lalu menyematkan cincin di jari manis Kate.
